With SAWxml-interLinks almost any object in the Open Text Content Server environment, such as projects or folders with their subordinate objects, can be exported and imported. This includes the processing of all Content Server object properties with XML parsers, such as permissions, associated categories and version data. Data can be re-imported into the same or any other Content Server system.

 

Application purpose

  • Synchronization of Open Text Content Server content: One-time or regular synchronization of Content Server ECM objects between separated systems.
  • Creation of data backups of your system: Making of selective backups of single objects, such as folders.
  • Support of the one-time migration of Content Server content

Before starting the migration project SAW migration consultants analyze the structure of your Content Server system for critical migration data.

In an interactive process they design a migration concept which will subsequently serve as a guideline for the migration workings to be done.

In this specification it will be fixed and documented which manual and automated workings have to be done.

       

As we are integrated in your time and project planning, we can reserve personal resources in real time.


Development services

We develop all tools which which help to make the data migration as fast as can be. These tools can be used in addition or instead of the SAW xml-interLinks product. We provide you all SAW products that are required for the migration, e.g. older SAW xml-interLinks versions.

 

During migration they are available for you. You are not bond to any purchase obligation, but you can aquire the licence (with all extensions from this migration), if you want.

 

We attend to the installation and the subsequent removal of the tools.
